Many come together to raise money for the New York Special Olympics

VESTAL (WBNG) — Many came together Thursday evening to help raise money for the Special Olympics of New York.

Police officers and athletes who participate in the Special Olympics served food at Tully’s together.

Binghamton Police and the Special Olympics do a number of events together throughout the year to raise money.

Saturday, May 4, is a big event for the New York Special Olympics as they’re coming to Chenango Valley High School.

12 News’ Chloe Vincente and Nicole Menner will be there running the torch and Chief Meteorologist Howard Manges will be emceeing the event.
