BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Binghamton Chamber of Commerce held its 55th annual dinner and meeting Tuesday evening.
In attendance was a sold out crowd of 530 chamber members from all parts of local business, community groups and elected offices.
It was an evening of celebrating the chamber’s accomplishments over the past year, with several awards being handed out for business and community leadership.
Receiving the entrepreneur of the year award was Adam Weitsman of Upstate Shredding.
“It’s really nice,” says Weitsman. “I mean, it’s hometown. I live in Vestal so Broome County has been really important to me, so I just feel thankful to be here.”
The chamber also highlighted its plans for the coming year which include an all new business convention.
