Pennsylvania men indicted on new charges in Apalachin murder

APALACHIN (WBNG) — A Tioga County grand jury has formally indicted two York, Pennsylvania men charged in the murder of an Apalachin man.

Authorities say 32-year-old Brian Argro was fatally shot during the home invasion at 5 Dorothy Road around 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 9.

Both suspects ran off. Curtis Cuttino, 40, was arrested nearby a short time later. Officials said Michael McVicker, 46, was taken into custody in Monticello later that morning while on a bus he was taking to southern Pennsylvania.

In Tioga County Court on Friday, the men were indicted on the following charges:

Curtis Cuttino

  • Murder, first degree
  • Murder, second degree
  • Burglary, first degree
  • Kidnapping, second degree
  • Two counts, criminal possession of a weapon, second degree

Michael McVicker

  • Murder, second degree
  • Burglary, first degree
  • Kidnapping, second degree
  • Two counts, criminal possession of a weapon, second degree

According to the indictment, Cuttino and McVicker were charged with kidnapping because they abducted a woman within the home. Both men remain jailed without bail.
