ENDICOTT (WBNG) — The Endicott Police Department says the search for a missing man on the Susquehanna River continues Wednesday with New York State Police SCUBA team members assisting officers by patrolling the river with sonar.

According to police, their investigation has found that 47-year-old David Bower of Endicott was on the northern bank of the river early Tuesday, when it was extremely dark out, and is believed to have fallen off an approximately 10-foot high ledge into the river.

Police say they are having difficulty locating appropriate next-of-kin and ask that Bower’s relatives or close personal friends contact the department at (607) 785-3341.
