Pilot hospitalized after small plane goes down in Oswego County

FULTON, N.Y. (WBNG/WTVH) — Officials in Oswego County say a person was injured after a small plane crashed on Thursday afternoon.

Crews responded to North 4th Street in Fulton, New York where a small plane had crashed. The scene is about two miles away from the Oswego County Airport.

Fulton Police Chief Orlo Green explained that the pilot was flying to the Oswego County Airport from Malone, New York, when the plane lost power.

The pilot was taken to the hospital, but was conscious. Firefighters say the pilot’s injuries do not appear life-threatening.

The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
