Greater Binghamton Santa Run returns Sunday

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Organizers and runners are gearing up for the Greater Binghamton Santa Run, which is a 5K run/walk through downtown Binghamton.

The race starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday, December 9. Event coordinators say registration is $30. Interested participants can register online through this Friday.

According to the event’s website, there will also be a 1/4-mile kids run, which begins at 10 a.m. Registration for the kids race is not required.

All participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite holiday character including: Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, reindeer, elves, a dreidel, a menorah, ornaments, trees, or candlesticks.
