TOWN OF BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Broome County Veterans Complex is set to be completed by next year.
It’ll be located at the former Vestal Hills Country Club on Webb Road in the town of Binghamton.
Broome County Executive Jason Garnar says the complex will be a satellite campus for Clear Path for Veterans.
Clear Path is a nonprofit organization based in Central New York that helps veterans with programs and resources.
“We’re going to have a lot of workforce development programs as well,” said Garnar. “There’s going to be a housing component and really what it’s going to be, it’s going to be, a hub for all of our veterans services. We’re going to put under one roof in a very centralized location, in a place where veterans are going to want to come to.”
Garnar says this new facility will bring a number of jobs to the area.
