JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) — The Village of Johnson City wants the public to know about a weekend road closure.
Officials say Baldwin Street between Main Street and Corliss Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16.
According to the village, the closure will allow for the placement of a roof mounted steam pipes for the Wilson Hospital complex.
“There will be access to the emergency room entrance from Main Street only,” the village stated in a news release. “Traffic will be controlled by flag men for hospital traffic and emergency vehicles.”
Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes during that time frame.
Officials say all work will be done weather permitting.
