Police: Fentanyl, crack, loaded gun recovered from JC raid

JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) — Three people face felony charges following a raid in the village of Johnson City.

Johnson City police say the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant at a Farr Avenue address on Friday morning.

Investigators note that a loaded sawed-off shotgun, a loaded .38 caliber revolver, a .22 caliber revolver were seized by officers.

Authorities add that nearly 13 grams of crack cocaine, 2.5 grams of fentanyl, suboxone strips, and more than $2,100 in suspected drug sale proceeds were found.

Three people were arrested and charged as a result. 19-year-old Sierra Pearson, 42-year-old Rachel Taborn, and 41-year-old Anthony Burris were all charged with felony criminal possession of a firearm.

Additionally, Taborn and Burris were charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon charges. Burris is also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.

Police say they will not release any photos of the suspects.
