HARFORD, Pa. (WBNG) — According to the National Weather Service there was a tornado in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania early Monday morning.
They say the tornado took place on Tingly Street in Harford Township at 1:50 a.m. and it lasted for 2 minutes.
The National Weather Service says the tornado destroyed a barn and part of a silo on Deer Trail Road and took down trees and wires as well.
The tornado lifted over Interstate 81, before causing more damage. It finally lifted for good near Pennay Hill Road.
The National Weather Service categorized this tornado at EF1, or weak, which is a tornado betwee 86 to 110 mph.
The National Weather Service said all this information is preliminary and subject to change.
