Road trip? Harry Potter-themed coffee shop opens in Pennsylvania

KINGSTON, Pa. (WBNG/WNEP/CNN) — “Steamy Hallows,” a Harry Potter-themed coffee shop, is now open in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

The shop, which is about 80 miles south of Binghamton, has Harry Potter-themed drinks, decor and other odds and ends.

“We wanted to open during the week so it wouldn’t be as crazy and it was just as crazy,” said owner Josh Balz. “We opened up at 3 and from 3 to 8 I think on the first day we sold like 300 or 400 cups of coffee.”

Steamy Hallows can be found inside “The Strange and Unusual” oddities store, which is located at 467 Wyoming Ave. in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
