BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — One local mother received the ultimate Mother’s Day gift Sunday when she welcomed her second bundle of joy, a baby boy.
Cheyenne Buckley was expecting her second child for nearly two weeks, but her son Grayson decided to arrive on his own time. He arrived the morning of Mother’s Day at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.
“Quite the gift, the best gift ever,” says the Conklin mom.
Grayson was born at 7:47 a.m. weighing 9 pounds and 8 ounces.
“Kind of doesn’t feel real yet, I took a nap earlier and I woke up and I was looking at him I was like ‘Oh I thought I was dreaming, I drempt that I had a kid.”
Dad Donovan Brown describes finally being able to hold his son as, “simply amazing.”
The new baby will join his older sister Sophia, who can’t wait to have a new playmate.
A Mother’s Day the family will never forget, Brown adds, “I really have nothing to say, it’s priceless, it’s amazing.”
