CHENANGO FORKS (WBNG) — The Chenango Forks Central School District says normal school activities have resumed after a threat investigated Monday morning was found to be “not credible.”
The district released the following statement on its website:
“This morning, we received information that there had been a threat made to Chenango Forks High School. District Administration worked with law enforcement to investigate the threat, and it was determined that the threat was not credible. While the investigation was underway, from 8:27 to 8:55 a.m., all district buildings were in a lockout. No individuals were allowed to enter or leave. The lockout has ended, and normal school activity has resumed.”
The school district first published the information about the threat on its Facebook page.
