Crews quickly extinguish car fire in Vestal

VESTAL (WBNG) — Firefighters responded Tuesday morning to a car fire in Vestal.

It happened around 9:50 a.m. at the mobile home park on Stewart Road.

The Vestal Fire Department has not said exactly what sparked the blaze, but said it originated in the vehicle’s engine compartment.

Authorities say the fire was put out quickly and flames did not spread to any trailer homes or other vehicles.
