ENDWELL (WBNG) – A special truck is putting smiles across the faces of many children across our area.
It’s called ‘Stop that Game Truck’ and it’s becoming a big success for parties and events.

“I think it’s amazing fun, it’s really fun,” said nine-year-old Levi Ferguson from Endwell.

Tim Cavanaugh of Binghamton is the owner of Stop that Game Truck. It’s business idea that came from a video game fan in his family.

“It was my oldest son’s idea. He asked me one year ‘Can I have a game truck party?’ and I was like ‘What is a game truck?’ and he was like ‘look it up online.’ So me and wife talked about it and here we are,” said Cavanaugh.

Cavanaugh bought the gaming trailer back in August of 2018 and says he has already driven it across the Southern Tier for birthday parties and fundraising events.

Levi Ferguson says he asked his parents to rent out the video game truck for his birthday party on Saturday.

“It’s a normal truck but it has video games in it and like it’s not normal but it’s really fun,” said Ferguson.

Cavanaugh says the truck gives kids to have a place outside and inside to have fun.

“We have a laser light show in there. We have limo style seating. You can get on top of the seat which is pretty cool. Five high definition television inside, two outside, multiple gaming consoles to go play,” said Cavanaugh. “It’s something different to bring to your home instead of having to go out, you don’t really have to go anywhere the party comes to you.”

Ferguson says he loves the fact that there is plenty of room for all of his friends.

“A normal truck is usually only like five kids can be in it and this one has like 27 kids,” said Ferguson.

Cavanuagh says his favorite part is the seeing the reaction from the children when they first walk into the trailer.

“It’s really unique, you really don’t see anything like it and it’s the satisfaction of everyone having a good time,” said Ferguson.

The truck also includes a laser tag party for all ages.
