HARPURSVILLE (WBNG) — The Harpursville Central School District is among those teaming up with Harvard University for a new research project.
It’s one of 50 rural districts around New York and Ohio to be a part of the study.
Researchers with Harvard will be looking at ways to improve student attendance, college readiness and college enrollment.
Superintendent Michael Rullo says it’s a great opportunity to be able to partner with such a prestigious university.
“We want to do anything that we can to offer a better product to our students and to their families, and so if this process helps us to do that, we can only be grateful and thankful and super excited about what lies ahead,” said Rullo.
The Susquehanna Valley Central School District is a new partner in the research as well, along with Windsor Central Schools.
