BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – The Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study is teaming up with Techworks to host the Binghamton Bridge Pedal.

Starting at 9 a.m., the 10-mile course has several stops along the way including Otsiningo park, NYSEG Stadium, and the Broome County Humane society.

Organizers say it’s a great way to show off what the area has to offer.

“The idea of it is to provide an opportunity for people who are new to bicycling — or who haven’t biked in a while or those who just love bicycling to get out and see what the city Binghamton has to offer for trails and on road biking facilities” said Binghamton Metropolitan Transportation Study Senior Transportation Planner Scott Reigle.

The ride will end with refreshments at Techworks in Binghamton.

Nearly 100 people have already already signed up online.

But don’t worry, if you haven’t signed up and want to take part, they do accept day-of registration.

It costs adults $15. Children 12 and under bike for free!
