SIDNEY, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday multiple people were arrested following a “month-long” investigation into a drug trafficking ring in Sidney.

Delaware County Sheriff Craig Dumond said seven individuals, including six adults and one minor, were arrested and have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 1st degree, a class A-II felony.

Dumond says the drug bust happened at 37 Union St. and found $15,000 worth, or approximately 5 ounces/150 grams of fentanyl-laced methamphetamine, prescription medication, and marijuana.  They also found $1,600 in cash.

The following is a list of the individuals arrested:

  • William K. McLean, 37, of 37 Union St.
  • Nikita M. Kingsbury, 33, of 37 Union St.
  • Trevor J. Light, 21, of 37 Union St.
  • Jeffrey  M. Robinson, 25, of Norwich
  • Kevin G. Mosher, 23
  • Gina L. Overby, 32
  • 17-year-old male of Sidney

The sheriff’s office lists Mosher and Overby as homeless.

The sheriff had strong words for anyone thinking they could commit a crime and get away with it.

“To the would-be criminals that are out there, just when you think things are quiet, they heat back up again,” Sheriff Dumond said. “Know and rest assured that we’re out there and making sure we’re doing everything we can to remove you from the street. Get out of Delaware County would be my message.”

Authorities say the suspects have been arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court and were sent to the Delaware County Correctional Facility to be held without bail pending further court action.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is continuing.
