Sheriff’s Office arrested six suspects following a month-long investigation

(WBNG) — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has arrested six suspects following a month-long investigation.

Investigators received many reports of individuals stealing property from vehicles overnight in the area of Chenango Bridge, Hillcrest, and Upper Front Street.

By using local surveillance, tips from the community and patrolling problem areas, police were able to gather enough evidence for a search warrant.

The warrant was issued for Grant Road in the Town of Chenango. Following a search, police found a handgun, Adderall, ecstasy, and some stolen property.

Six Binghamton residents were arrested on multiple charges including, Jayden Howe, Carter Perry, Malinda Tuttle, Thomas Gumaer, Justin Gumaer, and Crystal Green.

They are currently being held and are awaiting arraignment.
