The Mercy House of the Southern Tier provides a home and a support to people with terminal illnesses who can no longer stay at home.
Meals on Wheels of Western Broome is receiving the next $2,000 grant for July. The organization is not-for-profit that provides and delivers nutritious meals to people in our community so they may maintain their independence and quality of life.
VINES is the last non-profit organization to receive a $2,000 grant from Upstate Shredding in June. VINES brings together diverse groups of people, with a focus on youth development, to establish community gardens, urban agriculture and community green spaces.
The Waterman Conservation and Education Center helps to promote conservation education and environmental literacy. It wants to expand environmental awareness, educate all ages, provide refuge to wildlife and more.
Willow’s Wings Animal Sanctuary is the next organization to receive $2,000 during the Southern Tier Tuesdays Campaign.
