McCarron soars, Sindelar in contention heading into DSGO final round

ENDICOTT (WBNG) – Scott McCarron shot 61 on Saturday in the 2017 DICK’S Sporting Goods Open to climb up the leaderboard into a tie for the lead entering Sunday’s final round. McCarron tied his career-best round by shooting an 11-under par, 61. He is tied with Kevin Sutherland atop the leaderboard heading into Sunday at 12-under par. Horseheads resident Joey Sindelar continued his stellar play in the DICK’S Open. The two-time B.C. Open champion shot 67 on Saturday. He is two strokes behind McCarron and Sutherland in a tie for third at 10-under.
