Marlies keep B-Devils winless in 2019

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — The Toronto Marlies ruined Evan Cormier’s first AHL start knocking off the B-Devils, 5-1. The Devils got the first goal of the night but Toronto responded with five unanswered for the win.

Cormier stopped 24 of 29 shots in his first AHL start. Egor Sharangovich (6) had the only Binghamton goal of the night.

Final score: Binghamton (15-20-3-0) – 1, Toronto (16-13-3-2) – 5

Binghamton is back at home Saturday, January 5 against Bridgeport. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
