Cormier gets first AHL win, Devils knock off Bridgeport

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — In the second of back to back games the Binghamton Devils knocked off the Sound Tigers, 3-1. It was the first AHL win for Devils goalie Evan Cormier.

Bridgeport opened the scoring but Binghamton scored the next three goals. Binghamton’s Colby Sisson’s scored his first professional goal in the win. Michael Kapla (1) and John Ramage (7) also scoring for the Devils.

Cormier stopped 26 of 28 shots faced.

Final score: Binghamton (16-20-3-0) – 3, Bridgeport (21-11-4-2) – 2

Binghamton is back at home Wednesday, January 9 against Syracuse. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
