BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — There were many local teams in action in a busy night of Section IV boy’s basketball  on Thursday. In Owego’s win over Corning, Kobe Bogart surpassed the 1,000 career points milestone, dropping 28 for the Indians. In Union, Maine-Endwell stayed undefeated in STAC play knocking off Elmira, 65-49. Seton Catholic took care of Susquehanna Valley on its home court and Binghamton went into Vestal and knocked off the Golden Bears.

Final scores: No. 20 Owego – 67, Corning – 57

Kobe Bogart scored his 1000th career point with Owego basketball.

High scorers: (Owego) Bogart – 28 points, Christian Sage – 24 points, Rob Merrill – 8 points

 Maine-Endwell – 65, Elmira – 49

The Spartans improve to 8-2 and 6-0 in STAC play.

Vestal – 61, Binghamton – 76

Next up for Binghamton is Owego on January 14, tip off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

Seton Catholic – 59, Susquehanna Valley – 42

The Saints improve to 9-3 on the season.
