B-Devils squander lead, fall to Rochester

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – The Rochester Americans scored three unanswered goals to knock off the B-Devils, 3-2. The Americans scored the game winning goal with just 1:01 left in regulation.

Coming off an all star game appearance, John Quenneville, got the scoring started for Binghamton. Eric Tangradi would give the Devils a two goal cushion just 20 seconds into the second period.

Rochester would get on the board later in the period on a shorthanded goal and the Americans would later tie the game at two going into the third period.

After a quiet period, Rochester scored on the power play with just a 1:01 to go in the game to hand Binghamton a crushing loss. Binghamton was out shot 34-18 on the night.

Final score: Binghamton (20-24-5-0) – 2, Rochester (27-13-3-1) – 3 

Binghamton is back at home Saturday night against the Senators. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
