B-Devils drop fifth straight game

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – On Friday the Americans handed the Devils its fifth straight loss, 5-3. Nikita Popugaev scored his first AHL goal in the loss.

The Americans scored twice in the first period to hand Binghamton an early deficit. Marian Studenic though would tie the game in the second period to make it a game.

Rochester would score the next two goals and Binghamton was unable to complete the comeback. Cam Johnson allowed four goals in the loss.

Final score: Binghamton (24-33-5-0) – 3, Rochester (37-18-3-2) – 5

Tomorrow, Binghamton once again take on the Americans, this time in Rochester Puck drops at 3 p.m.
