B-Devils season ends with a loss

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – On Sunday the B-Devils wrapped up the 2018-2019 season with a 5-2 loss to the Penguins. The Devils finish the season with the second worst record in the American Hockey League.

Ryan Schmelzer gave Binghamton a 1-0 lead going into the first intermission. The Penguins came back with the knockout punch scoring three unanswered goals in the middle frame.

Final score: Wilkes/Barre (36-30-7-3) – 5, Binghamton (28-41-7-0) – 2

Binghamton will conduct exit interviews with the media tomorrow before heading out for the offseason.
