Binghamton completes sweep over Hartford

BINGHAMTON (WBNG) – On Sunday the Bearcats knocked off Hartford, 1-0 to complete the weekend sweep. Freshman, Thomas Babalis, was fantastic in the win.

With the game scoreless in the bottom of the seventh Daniel Franchi would single and after moving to third he would score on a wild pitch.

Babalis allowed just two hits in six shutout innings of work.

Binghamton – 1 (18-17, 8-6), Hartford – 0 (13-24, 7-7)

Binghamton will stay home for an out of conference game with St. Bonaventure on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
