BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Former Binghamton Rumble Ponies outfielder Tim Tebow along with college athletes and the band Florida Georgia Line helped renovate a charter school in New Orleans, Louisiana on New Year’s Eve for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Service Project. More than 100 volunteers installed a jungle gym, basketball hoops and built a classroom at the Audubon Gentilly Charter School. The school holds 141 students in pre-K through second grade.

“We don’t do it for the glory,” said Tim Tebow. “You don’t do it for the praise. You do it because it’s what’s right and it’s what matters.”

No. 5 Georgia takes on No. 15 Texas in the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl on Tuesday, January 1 at 8:45 p.m.
