BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — According to a report from ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Jon Jones passed multiple drug tests on December 29 after defeating Alexander Gustafsson for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 232 in Los Angeles.

According to the report, California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster told ESPN, Jones was tested by both the United States Anti-Doping Agency and the commission and all tests have come back negative of banned substances, that includes the M3 Metabolite that created the controversy prior to UFC 232 causing the event to move from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.

Now, Jones prepares to fight again. He is scheduled to apply for a license in Nevada on January 29 and will face Anthony Smith at UFC 235 on March 2 in Las Vegas if he is granted the license.
