CONKLIN (WBNG) — Entering week six of Section IV football, there are few teams left with a perfect record. Class C’s Susquehanna Valley and Windsor are both 5-0, but when tomorrow night is all said and done, one of them will have a 1 in the loss column.

The number one team, Susquehanna Valley will host the Windsor Black Knights. Just like last season, the Sabers have run through Class C, including last week’s 61-0 win over Harpursville/Afton. On the other side the Black Knights are looking to play the role of spoiler just like they did last week after handing Sidney their first regular season loss in nearly two years.

“If we knew we were going to be 5-0 and they were going to be 5-0 you know that is what our goals are. We played one game at a time and here we are,” said Windsor head coach Tim Hogan.

“We have a good rivalry we are right next door to them. We are excited to be playing Windsor again because it has been a few years, they are right next door to us and it is always an exciting game.,” said Susquehanna Valley head coach Mike Ford.

Susquehanna Valley will look to keep up a crazy stat they’ve held since last season. The Sabers opened their new turf during week three last year, and entering week six this season the Sabers have yet to allow a single point at home – something both team’s are well aware of entering Friday night’s game.

“Well we have heard that rumor here too, it is pretty impressive, it is going to be a good game we are looking forward to it and we will see what we can do,” said Windsor senior Jack Beattie.

“We have been talking about it for a while, the whole captains and everything are pushing for us to not give up a point, our fellow teammates are looking to us to keep that streak alive and we are just hoping to keep it alive,” said Susquehanna Valley senior Logan Haskell.

Friday night’s game between Susquehanna Valley and Windsor comes up at 7 p.m. at Susquehanna Valley.
