BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — On Wednesday night, the Binghamton Devils topped the Utica Comets 4-2, for the first time this season.

The B-Devils took an early 2-0 lead in the first period after goals from Kyle Cumiskey and Ben Street. After the Comets tied the game at 2, Chris Conner put the B-Devils ahead in the third for his sixth goal of the season.

Ben Street scored his second goal of the night later in the third, an empty netter to give the B-Devils some insurance. Street had a three-point night, while goalie Louis Domingue stopped 16-of-18 shots.

Final score:

Binghamton Devils – 4 (4-7-2), Comets – 2 (8-3-0)

The win marked the B-Devils third straight on their home ice. The team travels to Rochester to take on the Americans Friday night. The B-Devils return home Saturday to host the Utica Comets for Military Appreciation Night.
