Tonight: Clear with fog. Wide range in temperatures. Isolated frost possible in the coldest valleys, especially north and toward the Catskills. Wind: Light Low: 35-46
Thursday: Sunny. Wind: Light High: 67-72
Thursday Night: Clear and chilly with fog. Wind: Light Low: 38-47
We expect mostly sunny to flat-out sunny skies to persist through the weekend. Overnights will be clear with valley fog. Highs through Thursday will top out within a few degrees of 70. Overnight lows will be in the 40s with some upper 30s in the coldest, elevated valleys. There is a very small concern that some of the coldest valleys, especially in the Catskills and north/northeast of Binghamton, closer to the center of the high, could potentially see some isolated frost overnight tonight. Widespread frost will not develop.
As the high shifts east this weekend, we’ll warm up through the 70s and a few 80s are possible Saturday and Sunday.
The next chance of rain is Monday with a cold front. The chance of precipitation is 30% with highs in the mid 70s. Tuesday and Wednesday bring more seasonable temperatures in the 60s to around 70.
